Description

CTLA-4 (CD152) is a protein receptor, constitutively expressed on regulatory-T-cells. CTLA-4 plays key roles in down regulation of immune responds, and functions as an immune checkpoint. The expression of CTLA-4 is upregualted in conventional T-cells when they are activated. CTLA-4 binds with CD80 or CD86 on the presenting-antigen cells to switch “off” the immune responds.

CTLA-4 (36-161aa) is expressed in E.coli, fused with an N-terminal His tag, and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
